A Mixed Pairs ‘league’ competition played on Sundays during the summer.

St Andrews Greensomes pairs format, no maximum HI. Players decide, before the first hole, which player will play the 2nd stroke on odd-numbered holes and the other player plays the 2nd stroke on even-numbered holes. This selection of player applies irrespective of whose tee shot is used on that hole. Players alternate each subsequent stroke.

60% of the lower CH and 40% of the higher CH.

Men play from the yellow tees, women from the red tees. Men’s SI.

Pairs may comprise either two club members or a combination of a club member with a guest from another club with a valid HI. Pairs must remain the same throughout, no ‘subs’ are allowed.

Played as a series of five monthly fixtures over the summer to earn points for the season total, ending with a fun finals day scramble with dinner. Players do not have to play in every round, and only their top three scores count towards the trophy.

Monthly prizes in kind are awarded, the organisers may adjust this in individual years.

The final day’s fun [Florida] scramble does not count towards the main trophy.

The winners are the pair with the most points over the season.
